School lets out at 3pm, but your work day doesn’t end until 5pm. After school day care is one solution, but how much real value is there in that? The After School Martial Arts Program at Brad’s United is here to help parents and provide an alternative, proactive solution. Our rates are comparable with local day cares, but we give the added worth of teaching you kids valuable life skills.
The After School Martial Arts Program provides girls and boys in grades 1st through 6th with an outlet for their pent up energy. The karate classes are great exercise and an amazing activity that even kids who aren’t great at team sports can participate in and have fun.
And even better, the program provides kids with a sense of empowerment and boosts self-esteem. It encourages discipline and respect. For Beth Buck, one of our local moms, it’s these lessons are some of the most valuable. “I’m going to tell Mr. Brad what you did,” she says she tells her son if he’s misbehaving. Nothing gets him to behave quicker than the thought of disappointing Mr. Brad. “He’s wonderful with the kids,” she says. “And it’s a great way to get to know the other parents in the community as well!”
